How to Hang a Wall Mirror

Hanging your wall mirror is not that complicated of a process. However, it is important to make sure that it is safely and securely mounted to the wall. In the video below, you can see the best way to hang your Hitchcock Butterfield mirror. Before you get started, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • It is NOT recommended to use a wire to hang your mirror. The weight of the mirror can cause the wire to unravel and the mirror to fall.
  • Hitchcock Butterfield includes attached brackets on the rear side of the mirror, but does not include any hooks, screws, drywall anchors, etc. to mount the mirror. It is important that the customer assess his or her installation placement and make the appropriate hardware choice.
  • Hitchcock Butterfield is not responsible for any injuries or home damages that occur during or after the installation process.

For some mirror sizes, a Z-Bar style cleat hanger will be included with the product. In these cases, please refer to the video below for mounting instructions.
